This project was shoehorning a LS2 with a T56 manual trannie into a 2008 Solstice.
LS2 with drive by wire like a C6 Corvette but the car is for racetrack use mostly so many of the functions of a car are gone.
This required the PCM flashed as a 2007 C6 and configured as a standalone as trannie is not what comes with a C6. Has LS3 heads, CAM, also headers, 3rd party radiator fans not controlled by the PCM. Functions like A/C and even cruise control no longer exist so tuning and making this run is a challenge
At this point car is mobile but clean up and final tune will be done next week and updates will be posted.

The owner wanted a better aircleaner setup that fit this engine bay makeup better and flowed cooler increased airflow
I had a new aircleaner setup off a new 2009 Z06 but to use that meant switching over from the older MAF that has a housing to the newer designed MAF that the C6 Z06 and 2008 and newer base C6 uses.
This meant reviewing the MAF's 5 wires from PCM, the pinout ordering and rewiring the 5 pin wiring connector so that the old MAF signals were moved to the proper order and using the MAF connector the new MAFs use that is different then older design
I then had to totally calculate the airflow frequency new MAF outputs and correctly change all airflow tables in PCM tune to match the correct grams of air for all engine conditions.
This worked out quite well and as seen in testrun scanner results that had zero engine knock or ping, correct injector pulse width on time and in the end allowed more engine timing with injector duty cycle maximum less then 70%
Car owner feels the engine responds quicker and spun up RPMs faster.
This says C6s older then 2008 can convert to using the faster responding new MAF design
