Lots of talk about who is the quicker.
Is it the 375 or 405 version that truely is faster then the other and under what type of driving conditions ?</font>
JR, well, on the dyno my 92 with 89K miles on the clock pulled 322 SAE Corrected RWHP, so I'd have to tip my hat to the 405 HP engines. I was bone stock, including spark plugs, except for Corsa cat-backs and a K&N filter under a stock lid, which most knowledgeable folks will admit counts for nothing or a few RWHP at best
Anybody can play the weight game, but I still carry the spare tire (the one behind the car, not the one around my waist!!! ;-) The true measure would be a SAE RWHP figure then a trip to the truck scales. I'd think these numbers would be valid for 1/4 mile or road course. However, in both cases the driver might well be the determining factor.
