This bulletin applies to 2005-2008 Chevy Corvettes equipped with an automatic transmission.
If a no-crank/no-start concern is present and no DTCs are stored, this may be caused by an open Park Neutral circuit to the ECM.

This input can be viewed in the Tech 2, but is easily overlooked in diagnostics.
The data parameter is referred by the Tech 2 as the “PNP Switch (if equipped).”

Place the transmission into Park. Using the Tech 2, monitor the status of the “PNP Switch (if equipped)” parameter in the ECM Data Display.
If this parameter reads “In Gear,” inspect circuit 1786 for an open circuit or poor terminal contacts.
