Teammate Melvin Has been defending our country for over 25 years now and is based in Germany. Was a long struggle but he was finally able to get a dealer to sell him a new C6 and it took over 6 weeks to then have it shipped overseas.
From Melvin :
Here are a few pics of the car. Yes I am having fun with it. Now I just have to get the remote switch for the exhaust. It sounds nice when it opens up, but I can't run around town in first gear all the time :-)
My only regret is that it is a convertible, but that is fun too - just not as safe.
My wife says I should wear a helmet while I'm driving. I guess she knows how I like to drive fast and am always getting on the kids about wearing helmets when skating.
Anyway, I am satisfied with the car. I have put about a 1000 miles on it so far. If work and school would only cooperate,
It will be an early day tomorrow and a long one too, but I will get to drive the car on the Autobahn again :-).
Then I plan to put some Liquid Glass on it. Needless to say, I am killing a lot of bugs on the autobahn. I would like to drive it through the car wash so I can spend more time driving, but the car won't fit in the touchless wash. So I'll have to play the Karate Kid.
