A year of testing the GM MN6 trannie cooler and found it stinks. Fails, cannot cool when car is sitting still and design is lousy.
Read about it here:
GM Trannie Cooler Project and Testing So here is the Team ZR-1 design.
Compare of GM's cooler and mine :

This cooler handles trannie and rear end. Is cooled by a fan so when sitting idle fluids are still being cooled.
This space showed no signs of objects hitting that area and has cooler, fresh airflow.

So teammate JP is happy I installed a thermal circuit so fluid temnps can be seen within drivers view.

To be safe a screen is installed and after several days launching hard ar drag strip there is no signs of anything hitting the screen.
This new design uses 14 feet less of fluid hose and gives back the airspace to radiator up front where the GM cooler was and more airflow is measured flowing through MAF.

Fan and pumps come on at 190 degrees and in hard test conditions once cooler system comes on the fluid temperatures never go above the 190.
Fan is 600 CFMs and my tests showed best cooling when fans pulled air through cooler rather then pushing air through cooler.
