can you run that on a stock ls1. with stock fuel pump and 42psi injectors. motor is a 2000

You can but there is a chance head gasket may slip due to head lift. Also stock pump may not hold up and may need to be boosted to maintain high fuel rail pressure when under high engine load/boost.
If boost heats intake air up too much it will effect the head gaskets and possible damaging pistons 7 and then maybe 8.

You may want to look at our frontstore and get our water/meth injection kit which will reduce the IAT temps by about 40 degrees which helps those stock pistons from deforming.

In any case a real good PCM calibration tune is needed with boost, we do custom tuning as our business.

team zr1 i no about your custom tune. thanks i scratched the head and cam package and bought the sts rear mounted turbos running 6 psi of boost. i was told if i want for peace of mind i can go with bap.i skiped the alternative injection. any other thoughts of saftey i am changing the springs 918.

With my 98 stock LS1 I see 5 PSI of boost, so far it's still alive (10'000 miles after the installation).

I run 36 lbs Bosch injectors and an additional fuel pump and I see 75% duty cycle @ 6000 rpm and an AFR of 12.5
I guess your fuel system isn't enough for the boost you are making (don't you have the 24 lbs injectors in the 2000 LS1?)

I also run a water/alcohol injection and the results are grate. It richen up the AFR, reduces detonation and cooles down the charge air.

This AFR was measured with water alone and a very low timing. With 50% alcohol (6 GPH) the AFR goes down to 11.5. At that point I can run 17 degrees of timing without KR. More timing or a different AFR didn't changed the performance.

I do not understand your writing as to "go with bap" ?

Safety with boost is keeping engine temps down as to water, oil and intake air, plently of fuel to cool pistons and preventing head gaskets from torching pistons by leaking or a common LSx problem is the landrings of piston 7 or 8 breaking and scoring cylinder walls.

OK BAP is a cheap work around that all its doing is raising the voltage to the stock pump from 13 to 17 volts making the pump work harder.
It requires larger wires from the front of car back to the pump to handle the added current load it you instead used the stock wires over time they will melt due to that higher load current.

Sooner of later the pump made to work at the higher voltage will crap out.

Best case is replacing intank pump with a larger flowing one.

Why are those two cylinders a problem?

I know that certain cylinders in carburated engines may receive less fuel and get damaged, but what happens in FI engines?
In carburated engines it depends on the distance carburator-cylinder, but in LSx engines fuel should be the same for every cylinder confused

It maybe air turbulance due to air hitting back end on intake and maybe firing order has something to do with why the back 2 are prone to this but I have seen stock LSx engines blow #7, recently a 2001 Camaro so with boost the problem highly increases esp if using high compression and boost.

so you think the air strem is accelerated in the intake and is "rammed" in the last 2 intakes causing a lean condition in #7 & #8?
