This vendor sells a product for about $500 that is supposed to give your Corvette good performance. It overwrites the stock G.M PCM code that is lost forever.
You take the PCM out of the car, ship it to them and they re-flash the memory with their custom code. Problem is you no longer have the stock code to go back to for any reason, including when you go to a dealer for warranty work.
This product was installed on the Rebel and in testing via drag strip, chassie dyno and on the street over several months, by monitoring the PCM with a scanner what was seen was,

• Low WOT Timing only 23 degrees
• Long Term Fuel Trims, 8 % too lean
• Lots of engine knock across RPM range
• O2s reporting rich consition during WOT

In contacting this vendor by placing long distance phone calls, all I got is they were too busy and would call back ( 1 time they just left me on hold for over 20 minutes and never did come back on the phone) which they never did. I placed thse calls over a 3 month period and never once got them to even call back to resolve the bugs in this product.

This vendor charges big bucks for frankly making some changes to G.Ms PCM tables and assumes since very few vendors do this type of product, the do not need to have any quality of what they sell or remember how to treat their paying customer.
It has come to light that this vendor is putting locks into the PCM code so that you cannot even re-flash the stock code back on in some cases so your stuck with not being able to simply go back to G.Ms code.
