One of our members, Tammy took her Corvette to a dealer for some repairs and in the end they left the car outside with the keys left in it and end result they claim car was stolen and totally stripped
Now they only want to pay her book value minus all the costs she had with mods and such

I dropped my car at a dealership on January 17, 2006 for a few minor issues. I received a call 7 days later that they had "misplaced my car".
Anyway, long story short, they left it outside the dealership, with the keys in it and it was found five days later a total loss. Over $20,000 damage. Stripped to the ground. So sad! Worst part is the dealer is fighting me on everything. They are undervaluing the car and giving no consideration for the upgrades. The whole thing is a nightmare. Inside job NO DOUBT!
