This dude contacted me just about 1 year ago wanting me to BETA test a so called hot OBD-II scanner he claimed was for LS1 cars.
I said no a few times but he kept at me and I agreed to do the testing.
I spent several months testing and continually told him his homebrew scanner was not very good, esp with the C5 Corvettes.

I saw bugs such as dropping the link to the PCM,
causing PCM to trip weird DTC error codes,
Forcing engine into rediced power mode and
once crashed my laptop so bad it trashed my hard drive.

With all that he still went ahead and released the product. Being he is from New Zealand, he wanted USA market so he makes some deal with B&B Electronics who sells the other junker scanner called Autotap.

User interface looks like a non professonal wrote it, being he is from another country all the PID values are in metric and when you have it convert to english the scaling is wrong.

Now I get all kinds of e-mails of C5 owners who bought the Efilive scanner and are having the same failures as I saw several months ago.
WIth my 6 months of testing that scanner, my score for it is a flat zero.
IMHO do not waste your money or time on it.
