I hand added a Magnuson SC to my 98 about a year ago and immediatley realized I had over loaded the suspension at WOT.
Basically the rear end squat and front end lift was so dramatic I had a hard time driving the car.

There where numerous suggestions among the usual suspects, but I am not rich so I had to wait. Last week I found C6 Z06 Shocks brand new all 4 of them for $250 Shipped and had to try them out.

WoW! for my nose heavy C5 (Iron Block, Blower, Intercooler, Oil Cooler, Oil Accumulator, all added considerable weight to the front end and I was dragging my Air Dam all the time.

These Shocks bolt in, are gas filled, restored ny ride hieght and drive like better than new. A really smooth ride, firm but not kidney jarring by any standard. Hard WOT front of car still rises but ony slightly, rear squat dramatically reduced and traction way up.

Turns are a lot more fun, flat and stable.

For the money it is an unbelievable improvement to my 130,000 Z51 Coupe. Especially how well it compensates for all my power enhancing wieght added to the front end.

That's great to hear Dennis! Its cool that you got the performance you needed without having to spend a ton of money.
