I spent the afternoon installing the Team ZR1 W/I kit. The install went pretty smooth but I have a couple of kinks to work out.

The first problem is a leak at the injector nozzle. I didn't put any sealant on it so that should be easy to fix in the morning. I'll put some Goop on the threads and reinstall the fitting on the nozzle.

The other problem is once I start the car it idles very rough for the first minute or so. I assume that I have the controller set to come on too soon so I adjusted it up but ran out of time to test it.

I also reinstalled the Halltech air cleaner that I had stored in my garage due to the fact that the injector nozzle didn't look like it would work very well in the factory accordion connector.

I'll enclose a few photos I took of the install.

Below is a photo of the WW tank that is used for the system
[Linked Image]

Since I didn't have any room near the tank to mount the pump I installed it in the front of the car. It is bolted to the rocker rails.

Here is a picture from above showing the placement of the nozzle.

and another from the other side

I'll start a new post with the other pics so it will load quicker.

Thanks for doing a writeup Brett for it will help others installing on their C6.

Set the "start" to just about 2.5 volts for that would be about 6,000 Hz of the MAF.

You can install with stock coupler, if you cannot make your own insert Snow has this that would work.

Note: you can use the "file maanger" in post options and it would upload your images directly onto our server to show and store as you see attachments for the image I did for this post

That is about where I had the start voltage set. Could it be due to the fact that I was not on the road and simply revving the engine to do the final check for leaks? Since the engine was not under load and comes back down to idle fairly quick I guess it would take awhile to use up all of the pressurized fluid from the pump to the nozzle?

I'm waiting on the Goop to dry a little before starting it up this morning. I should be able to get it out on the road today.

Is there a chart that gives a conversion from volts to Hz with the controller?

Thanks for the info on file uploads. I looked around the site trying to see how to upload pics before uploading to my Photobucket account.

Yes reving engine would cause higher MAF freq,
At the top of the controller there is a freq map. You should see that around 2.5 volts equals 6,000 Hz.
Make sure the FULL setting is like about 4 volts.

Use Ease scanner you should see when fuel trims go richer then what the MAF output freq is

Yes use file manager at bottom and it will allow images to be attached and you can also insert text then as what image is about. Image has to be 350K bytes or less so compress and size image if it is too large to help save diskspace on our server.
