This could be a good or bad thing but I was curious how many of us have 100,000 miles on our C5s.
My beloved '98 White Fang has just under 105,000.
How many miles can a LS1 handle. It still runs like stink although oil use is up to 1qrt/1,500.
Be good to also know what parts we need to watch out for in high milage C5's.
Wheel Bearing in the Midyears good bad about 85,000.
I heard there was a bearing in the torque tube that can wear out.
ABS, all the sensors and grounds do they need checking and cleaning etc?
Hoping to prevent a side of the road dead in the water moment with some sensible PM.
On person reccomended updating the Starter and Alternator then keeping a spare in the garage?
What about the water pumps and oil Pump should they be updated at 100,000 or 150,000 or what?
Maybe GM has some papers on these concerns.
