I was looking for the reason of an eccesive fuel consumption: do you think the compression test I did isn't enough to know if the cylinders are OK?
The tips of the spark plugs looks fine (to me) and all the PCM values look OK too. The O2's values (before and after the cats) and fluctuation aren't different than before and the wideband shows the same AFR than before (14.7 - 14.9).
I scanned the timing values to see if the PCM was using less timing than the high octane table, but it looks fine.
Is it possible that carbon deposits went from the combustion chamber to the catalysts that are now blocked?
I think they get really hot inside (glowing) and this should eliminate every deposit...
I can't imagine more than what I already checked

Any other idea?
Usually who drive those cars isn't caring too much about fuel (me too), but over here we pay $6.90 per gallon right now and this is becoming an issue
