After recent conversations with the Chevy folks and email contact with Mr Hill, we thought all Corvette enthusiasts would like to know the following:

1. The 2003 Anniv edition will have no changes in engines or increases in horsepower. There have been rumors about an LPE 427 edition being offered by Chevy. But this has been a rumor only. GM says NO!

2. Only the Hardtops and convertibles will receive the 50th Anniv. badges. The coupe will not be included here. No reason given?

3. Basic body style will remain with small changes in exterior panels.

The bean-counters will be watching Corvette sales closely this year. Our sources they that they expect to sell more than 12,000+ Z06 models. This would be up almost 3400 units from last year.
