To begin the baseline on the Team's '99 435 Mallet, I first do the math and some modeling.
The numbers say out of the box :

1. 0 to 60 MPH = 4.2 Seconds
2. 0 to 100 = 8.9 Seconds
3. 1/4 mile = 12.4 at 116 MPH, which is two tenths and 2 MPH slower then my almost stock '94 ZR-1 did at the drags.

4. Top speed = 185 MPH, takes 161 seconds to get there.

5. Top horsepower = 450 @ 5,000 RPMs
6. Top torque = 450 @ 4,800 RPMs

Note: this would ne with stock exhaust, when this Mallet 435 has long tube headers, no cats and custom mufflers, so I assume the HP maybe 470 with about 470 ft/lbs of torque.
This is with 3.73 rear end gear.

Next a chassie dyno.
