I agree being your quite a bit over sealevel but also assume your octane is lower there ?

You should have less issues but its always best to use a PCM scanner for then you'll know exactly what your powertrains air fuel ratio is.

I would install the filter and once weather gets hotter keep an ear open for any pinging would be a clue your too lean.
