GM just released at letter to all GM dealers as it is clear many dealers are screwing customers over on highly added pricing to buy GM vehicles, including the C8s.

Hope they wack a lot of those dealers asking $30-40K more for a C8 or buying the C8 from GM, paying in full, which puts the title in their name
Drive them a few miles and then selling them as used for thousands over what new sticker price was

Or the asshole dealer taking thousands of dollars in advance just to get on a list to get a 2023 C8 Z06 like one dealer did to 6,500 suckers when that
dealer might get 200 Z06 all of next year puke

The C8 Corvette Stingray is in its 3rd model year & demand is showing no sign of dropping off.

Now with the highly wanted 2023 Corvette Z06 this summer, people have become very concerned about how some Chevy dealers are looking at the new American sports car as a huge profit cash cow with plans to generate as much greed as possible above and beyond the Corvette’s Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Pricing (MSRP) at the expense of Corvette buyers.

As more & more bullshit about dealer malfeasance come to light that includes everything from demanding thousands of dollars in GM’s Market Adjustments after the car arrives to intentionally screwing up orders so that customers walk away from the deal, it’s become apparent to GM that it really needs to start policing their dealers better when it comes to selling these in-demand vehicles.

It is not just the C8 Corvette that dealers are targeting for huge price increases.
Also, the upcoming Silverado EV, the GMC Hummer EV, & the Cadillac LYRIC which have also garnered much interest from consumers.

With Chevy’s new plan for allocations, and it’s still something of a wait and see if by moving to an Average Daily Supply (ADS) model will force dealers to stay with pricing the cars at MSRP.

Not waiting around is GM’s North American President Steve Carlisle, who fired this recent warning shot by telling dealers straight up that they risk having their vehicle allocation redirected to other dealers who aren’t being bad assholes in the new car sales process.

Clearly dealers are telling GM to screw off as this was seen at a Utah dealer after GM sent out the above letter mad
