Some customers with automatic transmission-equipped Corvettes may experience a
power steering shudder while idling or during low-speed parking maneuvers.
This is remedied by performing a normal power steering bleeding procedure and
replacing the power steering lines with tuned power steering lines.
These tuned lines have two part numbers and became available 10/12/06:
• 15903239 for FE1 and FE2 suspension-equipped vehicles
• 15903240 for FE3 and FE4 suspension-equipped vehicles
• FE1 and FE2 suspension-equipped vehicles also require a clip to secure the
line. It is part number 88967174.
