JR, I have heard that Chevy sells a kit, and it may be for both units (trannie and diff). No hard details tho, other than the performance division apparently saw this as a needed item for serious use. If no one else comes up with any hard data anytime soon I can ask a couple of C5 SCCA T1 racers via email. In any case, considering the co-location of the two gearboxes, my initial thought for a from-scratch cooler would be a dual unit.
As a long time electronics nut and generally forgetful person, I like the idea of a temp switch turning the pump on and off.
I believe there are also some concerns about some parts in the C5 manual transmission not being up to snuff for severe use (plastic or some such), perhaps teammate Bill B. can shed more light on that.
