With the single PCM package, how detialed are the instructions for the software?

Are they operational only or do they give specific info about what each function can do, etc?

I should be getting my single user version next week.
As soon as I get it I will spend a lot of time using it and will post as much detail I can so others can learn with me.
So stay tuned. I will also use team website to publish documents, flash files etc.

I just finished reading all the docs. They are just how to run the program.

You got that right Jim, and even then it is incomplete.

I doubt the vendor would ever include a "how to tune" for it would have to be open ended to suit all users type of config of PCM they want.
Also doubt vendor would do it for it would take writing a book and they might feel if people went by the book and then blew engine or had lousy tunes they would blame the vendor.
Tuning a F-body would be different then a C5 due to the C5's functions the F-body does not have like active handling, drive by wire and drivetube issues. plus differences like a F-body having a EGR circuit.

This tune stuff is seat of the pants and how much the end user understand the functions they are changing.
