This spreadsheet show that you can tune out knock due to lean and low engine timing conditions. 
Thus perfect tuning even included using injectors that were 25% larger then the stock ones. 
See how clean the knock count is and at the same time got the timing up during WOT ( TPS >99.5)
Notice how the long term fuel trim is just about perfect when other then WOT.
