GM Executive Vice President and President of Global Markets Rory Harvey has confirmed on LinkedIn that the C8 Corvette Stingray is launching in Singapore, adding another market to the availability of the right-hand-drive version of the C8. This is the first time the Corvette has been officially available in Singapore.

“From Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Orchard Road, Singapore – an American performance car icon is set to win new hearts in a new market,” Harvey said. “Today, General Motors launched the Corvette in Singapore, starting with the Stingray.”

By saying the Corvette launch in Singapore is “starting with the Stingray,” GM implies that more Corvette variants will be gradually introduced to the market. Singapore may eventually get all five C8 variants, from the Stingray to the ZR1X. However, they’ll likely be in low volumes.

So, why is Singapore a good fit for Corvette? “As home to one of Formula 1’s most memorable races, Singapore has a reputation for valuing spirited driving, leading-edge technology, and quality craftsmanship, which the Corvette Stingray delivers in spades,” Harvey said.

The C8 Corvette Stingray photos in Rory Harvey’s LinkedIn post appear to show a 2025 model, judging by the infotainment screen. Harvey didn’t give a specific timeline or model year for the Corvette’s launch in Singapore, but it will most likely arrive in the country as a pre-refreshed 2025 model.

Meanwhile, every 2026 Corvette is equipped with a new digital interface with a trio of screens, including a 12.7-inch center touchscreen, a 14-inch digital Driver Information Center, and a 6.6-inch auxiliary passenger-side touchscreen. These displays run Google built-in and support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, all while delivering sharper graphics across multiple drive modes (Tour, Sport, and Track) and serving up key performance metrics such as speed, RPM, and G-forces.

All C8 models ride on the GM Y2 platform, and assembly takes place at the Bowling Green plant in Kentucky. We expect the USDM 2026 Chevy Corvette’s online configurator to go live sometime in August.
