The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a collision between one of its cruisers and a C6 Corvette on the Broken Arrow Expressway this morning.

It happened around 11:00 a.m. just southeast of the Inner Dispersal Loop near the Peoria bridge.
OHP says the initial collision was in the eastbound lanes, but both vehicles wound up on the westbound side.

So far, there’s no word yet on which vehicle was at fault or what led up to the crash.
Both vehicles had heavy damage, but OHP says there were only minor injuries.

In the photos from the incident, the Dodge Charger patrol vehicle is showing heavy damage to its driver’s side door while the Corvette appears to have damage to the front of the car which came to rest against a concrete highway divider
It also appears the passenger side airbag in the Corvette had deployed as well.
