We have seen quite a few screwed up C6s but the owner Charlie of a shop in the LA Ca area that is one of the worst out there.
We personally have had to retune about 6 C6 Z06s he has hacked on.
Latest is a 2006 Z06 for whatever the reason sucked the owner into buying a new LS7 and ole Charlie then hacked on.
In part was also his so called "dyno tuning"
The owner lives in Oregon which means the cost and time to round trip and on the drive back from RPM the car died several times and also had starting problems.
Owner came over and the first thing we did was download the PCM and examine the so called tune Charlie did and it really makes me pissed to see how a car worth about $60,000 is hacked on like it was a 2000 Toy ota POS.
Here we see he turned off almost ALL DTC error codes to hide problems and to prevent anyone knowing when there is engine problems.

Included we found
1. Torque management turned off.
2. Misfire turned off.
3. MAF table values screwed up.
4. Weird timing table values for both high and low octane
5. So called ported the stock throttlebody, was done badly causing the random idle on decel and bad startups
6. with the costs of new LS7, porting, valve springs, Vararam the end results was ZERO gain and the tune was lousy.
Reason engine was replaced is a radical CAM installed caused valves to smash into the cylinders
