I tend to find that most who have Version 7 Personal or V8 Professional versions are not making use of the auto update/install function.

This feature allows you to set the scanner when laptop or P/C is connected to the internet to auto connect to Ease servers, auto download and install any newer updates or function changes since the last updates done on your Ease.

You can turn off auto updating and then use the function found in Files section of main PID screen to have Ease connect to internet and then do auto updating.

After update is done click on the "history" icon to review what all the changes were so your aware of them.

I'd suggest at least once a month to have your scanner check and install any new updates.
