This relates to a 2010 ZR1 that only has 1,500 miles on it and our custom tuning.
Top results images shows what the numbers looked like with a normal long cruise in traffic.
Then though not normal for the owner was going to a drag strip maintaining the stock tires he did a test running the 1/4 mile without using the new launch control function and then with it on by the low level setting.
NOTE: as seen the launch control run was done last and by then the engine/engine bay had heat soaked and launch was done the intake air was up over 130 degrees causing knock which PCM pulled WOT timing.
If you carefully look though you see the engine and drivetrain was much smoother off the line and if the air temps are lowered then using launch control would have had better 1/4 values.

Jim replay your scanner recording in chart mode. switch to elapsed time for top scale and then you can set the cursor as shown below 1 second lost getting off the line, then 1/2 second cost per gear shift

Here we see between the 2 runs where the last run at launch the air temp was 13 degrees hotter and it came with a cost of more knock that had higher peak of reducing timing over a longer period of time. Dealing with this will prevent performance loss
