After winning the IMSA season opener at the 24 Hours of Daytona, Corvette Racing were off to a flying start for the 69th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring. They planted the #3 Corvette C8.R on pole for the race, but in the final 10 minutes Disaster struck.
They celebrated their 25 year partnership with Mobil 1 by dedicating full Mobil 1 liveries for the weekend.
The stunning red, white and silver cars hammered the bumps of Sebring showing they were a force to be reckoned with.
However, in the last 10 minutes, the BMW of Connor De Phillippi for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing collided with the leading Corvette of Antonio Garcia handing over GTLM victory to Mathieu Jaminet and the WeatherTech Racing Porsche team.
